Welcome to the Oak Class page! Year 4 is an exciting year, including several school trips; we will be visiting the British Museum in Autumn 1, exploring a Synagogue in Spring 1 - just to name a few!

My classroom practice relies on foundations of mutual trust, respect and kindness. I look forward to getting to know each of the students and watch them develop. 

Please note that I work part-time, and on a Wednesday the class is taught by Mrs Jha.

School uniform expectations

Please ensure that the children come to school in smart school uniform at all times.  All items of clothing should be labelled with their name and class.

Children should not wear trainers to school but should bring them in on their PE days.

Earrings should be small studs and should be covered or removed on PE days.

Important information:

PE day:  Thursday  AM and PM

Homework: This will be available on the homework page on a Friday to be returned by Tuesday.  Please ensure your child does the homework as this will be monitored.

There will also be a weekly spelling test on Friday. Please ensure your child learn the words.

Reading books: Have been issued alongside reading records which need to be completed by the children. Your child will be given a new book to read throughout the week on a Monday.
