    • Reception Admissions 2027-2028

    Are you thinking of applying for a school place at St Mary's for your child to start in Reception Year in September 2026?

    To enrol for a school place at St Mary's for your child, applications must be made online at Slough Local Authority.  The deadline for applications is 15th January 2027.

    Reception
    • Children are eligible for admission to the Reception class in the September after their fourth birthday.
    • Applications should be made via a Common Application Form (CAF) online with Slough Local Authority or click here for more information regarding Primary School Places. 
    • Pupils are admitted to school without reference to aptitude or ability. The LA are responsible for admission arrangements. 
    • The closing date for applications is 15 January 2027.

    For 2027-2028

    • Our published admissions number is 90 children from Reception year to year 6.
    • Our nursery pan is 52.  This includes provision for 15 hours per week either am or pm for 3 hours per day.  Our Nursery currently admits children from 3 years old.

    Reception entry 2027-2028

    If you have a child who was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you must apply for a Reception school place for September 2027. The application process for Slough residents is now open. The deadline is 15 January 2027.

    Before you apply for your child’s school place for September 2027, please make sure the following applies to you:

    1. You live in Slough
    2. Your child is eligible to start primary school in September 2027
    3. You know which school you would like your child to attend
    4. You know how your child will get to school

    Everyone must apply for a school place. There is no automatic entry to any school.

    On time applications for a reception places at primary school 2026 are now closed. If you require an immediate secondary or primary school place for this academic year (2026-2027), please complete an in-year application form.
