2024-25 - SPANISH EVENTS

WORLD BOOK DAY - LA RATITA PRESUMIDA

The Year 6 children read and performed a traditional Spanish tale: 'La Ratita Presumida' (The boastful little rat). We had wedding proposals, broken hearts and a 'run for your life' dash! All very exciting. Well done, Year 6.

THE PEN-PAL LETTERS FROM SPAIN HAVE ARRIVED!

Each of our pupils received a letter/Christmas card from a pen-pal from our partner school in Zaragoza, Spain.

They were very impressed with the quality and content of the letters. They were written in English and Spanish and were full of information about themselves and their lives.

This is truly a highlight of the year. Our students get to experience the language they are learning in a real context and it is motivational and exciting. We also sent them some letters and hope they enjoyed them as much as we did ours.
