Easter break reading

For our writing in summer i, we will be using 'The Firework-maker's Daughter' by Phillip Pullman. There are 7 chapters in this text. Your child is expected to read half a chapter each day over the break.

TV presenter Saira Khan encourages us to read her favourite children's book, The Firework-Maker's Daughter by Philip Pullman. She explains that she loves this story of a brave young girl called Lila who has to go on an exciting adventure to fulfill her dream of becoming a Firework-Maker like her father.
