A very warm welcome to St Mary's Nursery. 

It is a privilege to be able to play a part in supporting, educating and building positive relationships with you and your child during their precious first years of their learning journey.

The nursery caters for up to 52 children, spread over 2 sessions a day, with each child attending 15hrs a week.

We are an experienced, skilled and committed team of staff made up of a qualified teacher, an early years practitioner and teaching assistants.

We firmly believe a child’s well-being and happiness is vital to their learning success, and this is at the heart of everything we do. To ensure all children have the best possible experiences within our learning environment, we endeavour to make it engaging, stimulating and fun. It is a nurturing place that fosters positive relationships and partnerships, leading to the best possible outcomes for all children.  

We have, recently, adopted Chris Quigley's Curriculum Design to ensure we provide a well-sequenced and evidenced-based curriculum in our Early Years. Our curriculum is planned to equip the children with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed not only for the next stage of learning but for life. Our new forest school supports outdoor learning and experiences linked to the early years curriculum, mental well-being and beyond.
