Science

Today you be looking at the food groups in more detail. You will be using this information in tomorrows lesson so it is important that you know what types of food fit into the different food groups

 

Lesson 2: To identify the role of each food group.
 

1. Write the long date (Wednesday 7th January 2021) and the (LO: To identify the role of each food group.)

2. Go through the slides to help you understand the different food groups and what foods go into each of these.

3. You should all complete the tasks on the slide. Sort the foods into the groups that they belong to.

4. You can have a go at matching the food group to the statements that describe the type of food.

5. Challenge: Can you think of an example of foods that fit into more than one category?
