Science

In this lesson, we will learn what the acronym MRS NERG stands for and learn each of the characteristics of living things. We will then identify and sort a range of living and non-living things.

 

Our lesson question today is what are the characteristics of living things?

We are going to learn how to spot if something is living.

 

Follow the instructions below:

You will need:

  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Coloured pencil

 

What to do:

  1. Get your pencil and paper ready for today’s lesson
  2. Watch the video lesson in the link above (pause when needed/asked to take notes or repeat information)
  3. Read the star words
  4. Write ‘MRS NERG’ down the side of your page as shown (leave a space between each letter)
  5. Write what each letter means and draw a picture to represent the word (pause video if needed)
  6. Continue watching the video.
  7. Please write the sentences in your remote learning book. Fill in the missing words explaining how you know using MRS NERG
