Remote Learning 05.01.2021-12.02.2021

Y6 Remote Learning-National Lockdown 3

Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement on Monday 04/01/2021, Y6 children will continue to learn remotely.

Please check this page daily to see what the children are expected to learn. All tasks must be completed in the 'remote learning' exercise book the children received at the end of the autumn term.

When children return to school at the end of the national lockdown 3, children must bring this book back to school.

Your teachers are working very hard to make sure that you don't miss out on any lessons-watch this space!smiley

The remote learning page has been rearranged with the most recent week at the top. We hope this will save you time searching for the correct work. Please check the dates carefully.

On Friday, all remote learning will be a review of the week's learning using Mathletics, Timetables Rockstar and Reading Eggs.  Children can also use this time to work on the ongoing projects and challenges that have been set. We will check that online tasks have been completed as a record of attendance.

No work should be emailed to class accounts on Friday

Story Time

An audio recording of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox & The Horse is available for the next 2 weeks.  It's beautifully recorded with lots of sound effects.  This week you can dip in and out and listen to it.

It's a lovely story of  positivity & hope x  Enjoy.

Resources for Parents

Maths at Home - A resource for parents.

Maths at home videos are not designed for teachers. It is fundamentally composed of activities that feel like they are taking place on a table at home, encouraging communication, conversation and lots of fun between parents and their children while learning mathematics.
