Children's Mental Health Week

This week is Children's Mental Health Week. The theme this year is 'Express Yourself'.
Mental health is extremely important, and with all of changes, uncertainty and lack of opportunity to socialise with friends and family over the last year, lots of people's mental health has suffered.
This week, we will be looking at some techniques and ideas to help you reflect and relax, as well as completing an exciting project. We hope this will encourage you to talk more about how you are feeling and give your mental health a boost.
1. Watch the YouTube video below (Belly Breathing) and join in with the activity. You could even get your family members to join you (as long as they are not too busy doing their own work).
2. Open up the PDF document (Children's Mental Health Week Project).
3. You will have until Thursday 12.30pm to work on your project and hand it in. We will be putting everyone's work into the Year 6 Gallery, and will be emailing participation certificates to anyone who sends in their 'Express Yourself' project.
Mrs D'Amaro (our Pupil Wellbeing Mentor) is looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations too!
