This week is Children's Mental Health Week and this years theme is 'Express Yourself'.
Mental health is all about the way we feel. The current lockdown might be making you feel sad or worried, it is ok to feel like that but it is important to talk to someone you trust about how you are feeling.
Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.
It’s important to remember that being able to express yourself is not about being the best at something or putting on a performance for others. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself.
This week in PSHE we would like you to have ago at the Children's Mental Health Week project. You have until 12:30pm on Friday to complete your project and send it to your class teacher using your class email. All of the pictures will be uploaded to your class pages and you will get a certificate for taking part.
We can't wait to see how you choose to express yourself!
