Now you have read the book In my Heart - A book of feelings by Jo Witek here is your Children's Mental Health week activity...
Theme: Express Yourself!
We would like you to draw what it looks like in your heart.
What happens to your heart when you feel different emotions/feelings?
Example: Miss Raval's heart.
"Sometimes my heart feels full of tiny, floating hearts. This gives me butterflies and makes me feel warm inside. When my loving heart pumps, a smile appears on my face. This is when my heart feels loved."
Do you ever feel this way too?
Create your own page of different hearts and EXPRESS YOURSELF by writing your own little page of feelings based on what is 'In your heart'.
Mrs Hester's heart
I have chosen this blue heart to represent the boys in my life. I loved the butterflies; they made me think of happy summer days and being outside and exploring nature. I hope one day we can be as free as a butterfly again. My heart is overflowing to show all the love I have for the people in my life (and you at school too) and the love I feel from the special people in my life.
