In today’s lesson you will be continuing to learn about the season of winter. We will be looking at a poem all about winter.

Learning objective: To perform a winter poem.

1. Remind yourself of the five senses. Can you name something you would see, hear, smell, taste and touch during winter? Tell your adult. 

2. Rewatch the video clip to remind yourself of winter.  Winter Video

3. Read the poem ‘Snow’. What winter words are there? Write them down in your book. 4. Learn the poem and perform it using actions, a loud voice and remember to make it interesting for your audience.

5. Ask a grown up to record you performing the poem and send to your class teacher.
