Children's Mental Health Week
Children's Mental Health Week (1-7 February 2021)
The theme for this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is ‘Express Yourself’ and focuses on the creative ways children and adults can share feelings, thoughts or ideas through art, music, writing, poetry, dance, drama, photography and film, or just doing activities that make them feel good.
This week, we will be looking at some techniques and ideas to help you reflect and relax, as well as completing an exciting project. We hope this will encourage you to talk more about how you are feeling and give your mental health a boost.
1. Open up the PDF document (Children's Mental Health Week Project).
2. You will have until Thursday at 12:30pm to work on your project and hand it in. We will be putting everyone's work into the Year 3 Gallery, and will be emailing participation certificates to anyone who sends in their 'Express Yourself' project.
Just to help you get prepared, on Friday, we will be hosting a 'Dress to Express' event where you can dress up to show your 'personality' - take a photo and send it to your teacher!
