St Mary’s is a delightful school set in the heart of Slough town centre at the end of the high street. Currently we have approximately 580 pupils on roll; set to grow to 670 in the next three years.

St Mary’s is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled school but was set up to serve the needs of its local community whatever their culture, faith or religion and all children are welcome here. The school values its working relationship with parents which enables children to want to do their very best.

At St Mary’s we strive towards delivering and achieving an excellent standard of education for all children; this is underpinned by our core values of Love, Forgiveness, Responsibility, Honesty and Respect which permeate the school at every level. The school holds the Eco-Schools’ Green Flag Award for its excellent contribution to building a sustainable world for our children to live in.

We are thrilled to have been judged to be a ‘Good’ school in our latest Ofsted inspection, January 2016. The comments made about the pupils made us especially happy, for example ‘Pupils from all backgrounds get on well together. They respect each other and enjoy finding out about the faiths and beliefs of those from different cultures.

Our visitors comment on the genuine warmth of the staff and the polite, articulate children. St Mary’s is a school that lives and breathes its core values, a school which you are most welcome to visit and hopefully stay!
